Email stuck in Local Queue until program restart

Have a client running V15.5.0 and every so often all email will get stuck in the local queue until the program is stop and restarted. As a temp fix I have a start stop script scheduled every few hours (Did do it just once a day but was still getting held up in there).

Not sure what logs I need to help troubleshoot this issue but any help provided would be nice. No hardware, software, or network changes have been made since this happened minus windows updates on the 2016 Server that it runs on.

Hello Ryan,

Just to confirm:  Are those message completely stuck, or do some of them get delivered at a very slow rate?

After restarting MDaemon, is all of the mail in the “Local” queue released, or do some of those messages remain?

To look into this further, please provide me with a copy of the “MDaemon-all.log” file that is generated on the day when the problem next occurs.  Also, include a couple of MSG files that were stuck in the “Local” queue folder.

Make sure that you note the following:
1. The approximate time it was when the problem occurred.
2. The time is was when you restarted MDaemon.

Please compress that file into a ZIP file and then send it off-list to this address:
support@help.mdaemon.com

 

Use the following as the Subject of your message:
[md-support] Email stuck in Local Queue until program restart

Sorry Jared,

Been tied up here. Got reminded about it again today when our own sever started to do the same. I just email support the files and some extra info. But they wills stick there. Our server seems to be different. The emails get sent out to the user, but until i reboot the mdaemon service I won't get them on any device and it only affect me, not other users which is also weird.
