Authenticated session email rejected with an authentication required message

One of my users was attempting to forward a meeting request to another employee when she was met with a bounce message that showed a 530 5.7.0 Authentication Required message.  When checking the server log I found this:

Clearly the session was an authenticated session. The meeting request was being forwarded in the latest version of Outlook 365 using MDaemon Connector.  She doesn’t see this happening when forwarding any other type of message, only meeting requests.

Any idea why this would happen, and what options might be available with the current 19.0.3 release to work around this?
