Dear all!

I was moving my Mdaemon 19.5 to new hardware and change over from Win7 to Win10pro as the support for Win7 ends. Against Alt-N recommendation i use Windows as workstation edition, which maybe several users in small businesses do.

After all moving/migrating the end was a very erratic running system, not sure if it works and when an why...

...causing this problems was the limit of max.20 (my version) tcp connections.

I suggest to change:
Computer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Tcpip/Parameters

"EnableConnectionRateLimiting" = 0

If this parameter is not available, create it as DWORD 32bit.

No reboot needed to take effect.

best regards, Roland

Thank you for this information - I have applied it to my Windows 8.1 system running MD and I see an improvement in internal office access to the server via Outlook 2010.
All the local PC's appear to be working better now - they were OK before but they seem to be much smoother now.
