Hi!

Checking the logs on incoming messages, I noticed a possible double check of antiviruses on incoming messages.
The first check seems to have been made on TMP, the second check is LOCALQ.

It's my wrong check or is really a doble check?

Attached logs details.

Hello,

That is correct there are two scans done.

There is an option to "Refuse to accept messages that are infected with viruses" which will reject the messages during the SMTP session.

You can find more information regarding this option here:
http://help.altn.com/mdaemon/en/index.html?antivirus.htm

The other scan is done after MDaemon has accepted the message.

You can select the action taken when a virus is found after accepting the message under the "When viruses are detected..." section of the AV configuration.

Again you can find more information about that option in the link provided above as well.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Hello, That is correct there are two scans done. ...

    Hallo,
    this option is active:
    >There is an option to "Refuse to accept messages that are infected with viruses"

Really, I can't understand why the same message pass through :
    - Clam AV and Cyren AV when in TMP Queue;
    - Clam AV and Cyren AV when in LOCALQ Queue.

Each incoming massage pass through 4 AV checks in total...

    Thanks.
