I know that I can rebuild the OC .msg files in the Calendar.IMAP folder by deleting them and opening Outlook.

Is there a way to do the reverse, re-create the calandar.mrk file from the .MSG files?

The short answer is no, dropping MSG files into a calendar directory will not build a mrk file. If you take an empty calendar.mrk file and drop MSG files built by the connector into an .IMAP folder, you'll be able to see the events in the MDaemon Connector profile, but not in any other client that uses the MRK file. Unless the entry is edited in the the connector profile, then it'll be written to the mrk file.

I would recommend exporting the calendar to a PST and importing it elsewhere.
