Can a DSN trigger a rule?

I created a new rule to process any DSN a user receives, but it seems it is not triggered when a DSN is delivered in user's mailbox.

I used condition "IF-TO-CONTAINS" user@example.com

Thank you, Arron, for the reply and suggestions.

Yes, the DSN is generated by MDaemon.

I checked the "System generated messages are sent through the content and spam filters" option you referred to and it is indeed enabled.

Though I see that, in the same panel, "DSN messages are sent through the content and spam filters" option is not. I try enable that and see if my new rule is triggered.

By the way, I am sure the CF rule, which is a quite simple

IF-TO-EQUALS-THEN-RUN-PROGRAM

is not triggered, because actual message processing is performed by an external program that was developed for the purpose and which writes a log. Neither the CF rule, not the external filter appear to be triggered.

Sorry, I completely forgot about the separate option for sending DSNs through the content filter.

I created a test rule on a test system, and DSNs created by MDaemon were processed by the content filter and my rule matched the message.

Does the content filter log show the DSN message being processed by the content filter and not matching any rules or is it not even processing the message?

What version of MDaemon are you using?

Please post a copy of your rule, it will make testing much easier.
