Why does Outbreak Protection ignore the white list settings in the address book? For example, if sender is in the recipient's address book, but the OP verification ends with:

  • Spam result: 4 - Spam (confirmed)

    and the message is rejected:

-) 550 5.7.1 Sorry, message looks like spam or phish to me (OP)

How can I turn off Outbreak Protection for senders in the address book?

The best way is to add the addresses to the spam filter whitelist which is found by going to Security / Spam Filter / Spam Filter / White List (by sender), Click the Advanced button, then you can add the desired address to the whitelist.

There is not currently a way to have Outbreak Protection exclude a sender from scanning because they are in the recipient's address book.

Once you receive a copy of the message that is being flagged as spam, please forward it as an attachment and send it to spamfp@mdaemon.com so that the system can be improved.
