I been trying to get RegEx expression to work in the MDaemon content filter and so far I seem to have failed, what's more, the MDaemon content filer seems to mung my expressions.

The rules I'am trying adding are:
.*[Uu]ltra([Zz]oom|[Bb]oost)
.*([Ss]quirt|[Ss]mart[Ww]atch|[Qq]uickdry|[Ss]quirt)

So my real questions are:
1) Does MDaemon support Regex or not
2) If it does what I am doing wrong!
3) If MDaemon does not support RegEX can I use a 3rd party app to do this?

Its messing up your regular expression because it is not expecting a regular expression to be used when "contains" is selected.

1. Yes

2. change "contains" to "matches regular expression"

You may not have to use regex to match that though.  You can use "contains" as it does a case-insensitive match.  So contains "zoom" will match "Zoom" and "zoom"  It will also match "zoomingly", so it may not do what you want, in which case regex is the way to go.   if you do use contains, you need to list each word separately.  The rule would look something like this:

[Rule032]
RuleName=New Rule #32
Enable=Yes
ThisRuleCondition=All
ProcessQueue=BOTH
Condition01=SUBJECT|contains|OR|zoom|ultra|boost|squirt|smart|watch|quickdry|smartwatch|
Action01=move to bad Msg|

Arron, as per normal a nice concise answer that can be used to solve the given issue, also as per normal it was my ignorance that was the issue.

Thank You
