I moved MDaemon 22.0.3 to a new server. Unfortunately, the AV updates cannot update.

How do I manually update the Cyren AV?

Thanks.

I noticed that MDAV (Cyren) needs registry. At the end of the installation, I did see the regsvr32 error. MDaemon installer is executed from the C: drive, and MDaemon is installed on the C: drive, but the setup is trying to execute the regsvr32 from the network UNC path i.e. \\OLYMPUS\MAIL\...regsvr32.

How do I manually execute the registry keys in this case? Thanks.

Is the install being ran from the local machine?

What files are being installed at \\OLYMPUS\MAIL\...?

Please send me a copy of the avupdate.log file from the MDaemon\SecurityPlus directory and a copy of the install.log file from the MDaemon\App directory.  You can send them to me off list at arron.caruth@mdaemon.com.

Hi Arron,

Sorry, I'll try to do this over the weekend to prevent disruption to the production server. Hopefully, I can just rebuild a new VM on Windows Server 2022.

Thanks.
