Hello,
Do you have SSL (port 443) support enabled on your MDaemon server for MDaemon Webmail?
If not, that might be the reason why this problem is occurring since iOS (and likely Mac OS) do not currently support CalDAV/CardDAV when used with non-secure ports. If you do have SSL enabled and the problem still occurs when setting up a CalDAV account on an iOS device, please provide me with a copy of your WebDAV.log file for review. Also, please note which account you used and at what time you tried to set up the CalDAV account on the iOS device.
When sending that log, please send it off-list to this address:
support@help.mdaemon.com
Use the following as the Subject of your message:
[md-support] V20 CalDav+IOS=error 401

Hi
We have a Mdaemon v20 running with internal web server (standard port 3000) but we can't configure any CalDAV account (it's enabled in the config).
The log only shows:
Wed 2020-08-26 19:12:20: INFO, [ZSQZIGFJNDRIUC] Connection: x.x.x.x Method:PROPFIND User-Agent:iOS/14.0 (18A5357e) accountsd/1.0
Wed 2020-08-26 19:12:20: INFO, [ZSQZIGFJNDRIUC] Send HTTP Error: 401 - No 'Authorization: Basic' header found.
It's the same error that we have in the v19 version and with other iOS versions.
But It works with other tools and Microsoft Outlook like https://caldavsynchronizer.org so I guess that it's not a server problem but I can configure a proper "caldav" account, it fails in iOS, Android, MacOS...
Any hint?
