Hello Jim,
Did you only recently start to experience that error, or did it start occurring after an MDaemon update?
Does that error still occur if you install the MDaemon 18.5.1 update?
Are you seeing that error in the “Screening” tab of the MDaemon GUI, or are you looking at the “MDaemon-Screening.log” file?
If you review the entire “MDaemon-Screening.log” file, is "The system cannot find the file specified" the only error that is generated. If not, what else is shown?
In MDaemon, if you click Security | Security Settings | Screening | SMTP Screen, what options are enabled?
If you click Security | Dynamic Screening, are you able to see the Dynamic Screening settings, or is an error displayed?
If you stop the MDaemon service and then start it up again, does that error still occur?
If that error is still occurring, please provide me with copies of the following files and folders off-list:
\MDaemon\App\Plugins.dat
\MDaemon\Logs\DynScrn.log
\MDaemon\Logs\MDaemon-Screening.log
\MDaemon\Data (entire folder)
Please compress all of those files/folders into a ZIP file and then send it to this address:
support@help.mdaemon.com
Use the following as the Subject of your message:
[md-support] Screeing Log error?

Subject: [md-support] Screeing Log error?
Screening log shows "The system cannot find the file specified." for every record.
This sounds bad.
Is it?
How do I fix it?
MD v18.5.0
