19.5 MC hanging on sync?

I have a recently updated Mdaemon install (19.03? to 19.5) that was causing me some issues with MDaemon connector. While trying to diagnose the issue I removed my MC connection in Outlook and replaced it with a (functioning) ActiveSync connection - trying to determine a solution for other users. I updated my 19.03? MDaemon Connector to 19.5 and it still reported the server being offline. I tried secure, unsecure, but no joy.

Once I found that Mdaemon connector was disabled by default in the update and enabled it everything began working. It was bumpy for some users I tested but I got a couple test cases running. Hopefully tomorrow is smooth sailing.

However, in my testing I removed my person MC "profile" in Outlook (365 Pro Subscription). For one user I needed to do a repair with the SARA utility to get them up and running but for me I can't get through a sync. Sync stops after some random amount of messages and I need to kill Outlook and restart.

This is behavior I've seen in previous versions of Outlook connector and MDaemon Connector but recently it has been behaving. The 19.5 release is reaching back to bad habits and driving me insane. Help?

I can't get through an Mdaemon Connector Sync without it hanging.

I am tired and emotional. Apologies, but this sucks. What am I doing wrong? How can I diagnose this?

When I restart outlook and/or the machine it continues for a few messages then hangs. Given that 19.5 is brand new right now: I have not had anything other then my personal machine to diagnose - but this feels like installs ages ago where I needed to keep closing outlook and reopening it until the user was up to date.

This sucks!!

I thought it might be because I "uncheck" "Download Headers Only" but, alas, that did not resolve the issue.
