Disable auto deployment of MDC?

Is it possible to disable the "Would you like to upgrade to the latest version of MDC" pop-up that is presented to users at the server?

Given that (I believe) this feature is new to 19.5 - does this apply to the users that are using earlier versions of MC? Specifically 6.0.2?

If I enable this "push" feature, will that overwrite all of the configured settings on all clients? I just want to change this one setting, I don't want to update any of these other options here.
