Presales question:

If I want to migrate an entire exchange server the way to go seems to be the migration tool which specifies that the new server has to be connected to the domain (I assume this is so it can get user accounts and passwords). That's fine but at the end of the migration we'd want the server to be operating independently, without the AD server. My question is, once the migration is complete can the new mdaemon server be disjoined from the domain and operate independently ?

Update: installing an older version of outlook (2013) seems to get me past that error.

I make it to the part where it wants me to select email addresses and it says. "No Mailboxes in this storage group"

Is there any change if MDMigrator.exe is ran as administrator?

To verify, is Outlook 2013 a 64-bit application that matches the 64-bit MDaemon installation? Or was Outlook 2013 32-bit installed and MDaemon downgraded to the 32-bit version?

I am also assuming that MDaemon 21.0.0 was installed?

If you can send a message to support@help.mdaemon.com with "Exchange Migration" as the subject. I have a few options I would like to review.
