I somehow always have a mixed german/english UI in the mobile theme, even when I login using language 'english' - but using a german browser UI. So: I do not have a 'Settings/Compose' in the mobile theme. But yes, regardless what I choose under "settings/messages/preferred text format", the message is empty...

More information that may be important: I am using in all cases a german UI (OS and Browser). MDaemon is installed on a german version of Windows2012R2.
