Hello,
is there any way/tools to map/syncronize the "MDaemon\Public Folders\company.it.IMAP\document.imap" with a shared folder on the company server where company files/documents are stored ? I'd like to give access to those files via WorldCLient Document menu too.

Thanks
Luca

Yes you can, but in order for MDaemon to recognize them, the folder name needs to end with “.IMAP”.  So if you want a public folder called MyDocs, then you would create a folder named MyDocs.IMAP.   Then place a file called hiwater.mrk in the folder with the following contents:

[GroupWare]

FolderClass=IPF.Document

The hiwater.mrk file is also used by MDaemon to determine who has access to the folders, so if users have access to the hiwater.mrk file then they can change access levels.

You can test this out by creating a public folder in MDaemon (Setup / Public Folder Manager), and then looking in the MDaemon\Public folders\ directory to see what is actually created.
