No we did not change anything in 20.0.3 to require that it run as a local user.
If you set the service back to running as LocalSystem do you continue to have issues?

Subject: [md-support] MD v20.0.3 (upgraded from v19.5.5), Service never starts, will only work when the desktop application is run
I believe we have it working, have run over the steps below:
- Downloaded MDaemon v20.0.3 from the website and installed, restarted, NO FIX
- No postmaster@ and abuse@ email addresses, added to the alias list, NO FIX
- Checked the service, LOG ON was set to Local System account, we changed to the local administrator with the correct password, restarted the server FIXED.
So was something changed in v20.0.3 that requires the server to run as a local user (administrator) for it to run correctly?
