Alt-N Technologies Releases Newest Version
of MDaemon Email Server for Windows

Updated User Interface and Web Mail Client Enhances Version 10 of the Trusted Exchange Alternative
Grapevine, Texas (USA) – August 27, 2008 — Alt-N Technologies announced today the release of its newest version of the globally popular MDaemon Email Server for Windows, which supports SMTP and POP3 protocols for Windows Vista/XP/2008/2003/2000 systems. MDaemon 10 introduces an updated user interface along with administrator-friendly features such as domain sharing for easier set-up and management of branch office email. The integrated WorldClient web mail application supports over 25 languages with an enhanced design for mobile email users and improved support for handicap accessibility. The updated secure instant messaging (IM) application, ComAgent, offers customers the benefit of a closed IM network to minimize the potential security risks introduced when using third-party IM applications.
"We continue to focus on the needs of the small and medium business user community to provide them with enterprise level email features without sacrificing performance or security," said Arvel Hathcock, Founder and CEO of Alt-N Technologies. "In a time of increased pressures to save money on IT expenditures, the MDaemon Email Server continues to provide businesses around the world with an affordable alternative to more expensive Windows-based email server platforms."
As one of the first email servers to incorporate DKIM email authentication and a powerful set of anti-spam and antivirus protection, the MDaemon Email Server will also utilize the newest release of SecurityPlus for MDaemon . SecurityPlus version 4 provides MDaemon email administrators with an additional layer of anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-phishing, and other malware protection by incorporating the proactive Zero-Hour™ anti-virus and Real-time Outbreak Protection from Commtouch with the powerful Kaspersky anti-virus engine.
