Better Web Mail for All!
 |
 |
The recent release of MDaemon 10.1.0 enhanced MDaemon's web mail
client, WorldClient, by incorporating many customer and partner
suggestions. |
|
Your users will notice the changes right away, from its improved speed and
performance to a better handling WSIWYG editor with enhanced security
features. WorldClient's MDaemon server now serves text files from its HTML
directory as zipped/compressed files to help improve bandwidth consumption.
All of these changes make it significantly faster than past versions. To
discover more about WorldClient please see the WorldClient
Overview, or for a listing of the most recent improvements and
enhancements visit the MDaemon Release Notes. |

Changing Default Folder Names in WorldClient
If you would like to rename
the "Sent Items" folder to "Sent Messages," you can do
so by editing the Domains.ini file. Simply follow these steps:
1. Navigate to
the MDaemon\WorldClient directory and open the Domains.ini file with
Notepad.
2. You can do a
keyword search for "foldername," then, when you find the folder
that is to be renamed,
simply change the name after the "="
sign. For example, change "SentFolderName=Sent Mail" to
"SentFolderName=Sent Messages." Here
is a list of each entry:
a. CalendarFolderName=Calendar
b. ContactsFolderName=Contacts
c. JournalFolderName=Journal
d. TasksFolderName=Tasks
e. NotesFolderName=Notes
f. DraftsFolderName=Drafts
g. SentFolderName=Sent Mail
h. TrashFolderName=Deleted Items
3. After making
any changes, save the file. WorldClient users should log out and log back in
to see the changes. |
